Zebedee
Morrish Bible Dictionary
Father of James and John, two of the apostles of the Lord, but only mentioned as such. Zebedee was probably the husband of Salome (comp. Matthew 27:56 with Mark 15:40 .) Matthew 4:21; Matthew 10:2; Mark 1:19,20; Luke 5:10; John 21:2; etc.
