(died 590) Bishop and confessor, born and died island of Bute, Scotland. Educated in Ireland under Saints Comgall and Kenneth, he became a monk, and went to Scotland as bishop among the Picts. He founded a monastery at Dunblane, on the site of which the cathedral of Dunblane now stands. His church was at Kingarth, Bute.
