Perizzites

People's Dictionary of the Bible

Perizzites (pĕr'iz-zîtes), villagers. The Perizzites lived apparently in villages in the open country in the south part of Palestine, and were expelled during the conquest. Genesis 13:7; Genesis 34:30; Joshua 17:15; Judges 3:5; 1 Kings 9:20; 2 Chronicles 8:7; Ezra 9:1.
