Vine's Expository Dictionary of NT Words
"new" (in respect of time, as distinct from kainos, "new," in respect of quality), is translated "fresh" in the RV of Matthew 9:17; Mark 2:22; Luke 5:38 , with reference to wineskins. See NEW.
