Webster's Dictionary

(1):

(n.) A tropical wind blowing steadily in a direction opposite to the trade wind.

(2):

(n.) A westerly wind which blows nearly continuously between 30¡ and 50¡ of latitude in both the northern and the southern hemisphere.
