Eglon
Watson's Biblical & Theological Dictionary
a king of Moab, who oppressed the Israelites, and was slain by Ehud, Judges 3:14; Judges 3:21 . It is thought to have been a common name of the kings of Moab, as Abimelech was of the Philistines.
