a town of the province of Bulacan, Luzon, Philippine Islands, on the Quingua river, about 25 m. N. by E. of Manila. Pop. (1903), 5131. The inhabitants are engaged chiefly in the cultivation of rice and Indian corn, and in lumbering; good timber grows on the neighbouring mountains, and some iron and gold have been found in this region. Near the town there is a sulphur spring. The language is Tagalog.
