a town of northern France, in the department of Seine-Inferieure, i i m. N.N.W. of Rouen by rail. Pop. (1906) 5 2 45. The town is situated in the valley of the Austreberthe, a small affluent of the Seine, here crossed at a height of i oo ft. by a fine railway viaduct 540 yds. long. The manufacture of cotton fabrics is the principal industry.
