an -tik´wi -ti ( קדמה , ḳadhmāh , from קדם , ḳādham , "to precede in time," "to be old"): In Ezekiel 16:55; Ezekiel 36:11 , rendered "former"; in Psalm 129:6 , "before." Translated "antiquity" only in Isaiah 23:7 to indicate the primeval age of Tyre, which Strabo terms, "after Sidon," the oldest Phoenician city.
