International Standard Bible Encyclopedia
hag´ı̄ ( חגּי , ḥaggı̄ , "festive"): The second son of Gad ( Genesis 46:16; Numbers 26:15 ). The latter refers to his descendants as Haggites, of whom nothing else is known.
