jē̇ - dı̄´ā̇ - el ( ידיעאל , yedhı̄‛ă' - ēl , "God makes known" (?)):
(1) A "son" of Benjamin or probably of Zebulun (1 Chronicles 7:6 , 1 Chronicles 7:10 , 1 Chronicles 7:11 ). See Curtis, Chronicles, 145-49, who suggests emending the name to יחלאל , yaḥle'ēl , Jahleel, in agreement with Genesis 46:24 .
(2) One of David's mighty men (1 Chronicles 11:45 ), probably = the Manassite who deserted to David at Ziklag (1 Chronicles 12:20 (Hebrew 21)).
(3) A K orahite doorkeeper in David's reign (1 Chronicles 26:2 ).
