mā - a - dı̄´a ( מעדיה , ma‛adhyāh , "whose ornament is Jah"): A priest who returned with Zerubbabel ( Nehemiah 12:5 ). The name also occurs in the form "Moadiah" (Nehemiah 12:17 ).
