(Hebrew Oholiab', אָהַלַיאָב , tent of his father; Sept. Ε᾿λιάβ ), the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, one of the two artificers in the precious metals and other materials, appointed to superintend the preparation; of such articles for the tabernacle (Exodus 31:6; Exodus 35:34; Exodus 36:1-2; Exodus 38:23), B.C. 1657.
