(Hebrew Achuzzam, אֲחֻזָּם, their possession; otherwise, tenacious; Sept. ᾿Ωχαζάμ v.r. ᾿Ωχαία), the first named of the four sons of Ashur ("father" of Tekoa) by one of his wives, Naarah, of the tribe of Judah (1 Chronicles 4:6), B.C. cir. 1612.
