Airay, Christopher

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

an English clergyman, was born at Clifton, in Westmoreland, about 1601, and entered Queen's College, Oxford, in 1621, of which he was afterwards elected fellow. In 1642 he took his B.D., having previously become vicar of Milford, in Hampshire. He died Oct. 18, 1670. He wrote, Fasciculus Praceptorum Logicalium in Gratiam Juventutis Academicce Compositus.
