(Ἀλναθάν v. r. Ε᾿λναθάν ), one of the popular chiefs at the return from Babylon (1 Esdras 8:16); evidently the first ELNATHAN (See ELNATHAN) (q.v.) of the parallel text (Ezra 8:44).
