a minister in the Free Methodist Church, was born at Enniskillen, Ireland, March 30, 1825. He was brought to Canada East when three years of age; was converted at the age of thirteen; went to Illinois in August, 1865, and united soon after with the Free Methodist Church in St. Charles, and the following year was received into the Illinois Annual Conference.
