a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Caroline County, Md., in 1825. He removed to the vicinity of Fort Wayne, Ind., in 1833; experienced conversion in 1840; and in 1845 entered the Indiana Conference, in which he filled acceptably the appointments assigned him until his superannuation, which took place six years previous to his death.
