Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Queensbury, N. Y. in 1802. He was converted when about eighteen, and in 1824 entered the New York Conference. When, in 1832, the Troy Conference was set off, he was included within it; in 1837 was transferred to the New York Conference, and in it labored zealously and successfully until his death by drowning, Sept. 3, 1844.
