Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
in Hindu mythology, are certain deities emanating from Brahma, to whom he committed the power of creation. Other similar deities are Atri, Bhrigu, Daksha, Marilshi, Narada, Palaha, Pilastya, and Varishka.
