He was appointed by Cardinal Ximenes professor at the university Alcala de Henares, and colaborer at the Complutensian Bible Polyglot. He was also biographer of Ferdinand the Catholic. He wrote, besides a number of works on classical antiquity, a Dictionarium quadruplex (Alvala, 1532, fol.); Quinquagena locorum S.
