At the time of the War of the Spanish Succession, he sustained the interests of Philip V. He wrote a Work entitled El Sermon 'elipe V es el Rey de las Espaias Verdadero, aado per la Mano de Dios Torre Incontrastable de Secundo David, Perseguido Victorioso (Pampeluna, 1711).
