Archacolyth
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
Formerly, in some cathedrals, there was a dignitary so named: he was the chief of the acolyths, as the archpriest, archdeacon, and archsubdeacon were of their respective orders.
