(Ἀρές ), one of those whose "sons" (to the number of 753) are said (1 Esdras 5:10) to have returned from Babylon; evidently the ARAH (See ARAH) (q.v.) of the genuine texts (Ezra 2:5; Nehemiah 7:10).
