Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

an Armenian theologian, studied theology and history at the monastery of Meirawank in Armenia, and gained great renown for his learning. He died near the close of the 9th century, and left in manuscript, a Commentary on the Four Gospels: Explanation of the Epistle to the Romans :- Chronology of Ecclesiastical History, a controversy in favor of the Armenian rites.
