Bailey, Winthrop (2),
a Presbyterian minister, was born in Berlin, Mass., June 3, 1817. After receiving a common-school education, he entered the Theological Seminary at Princeton, N. J., where he graduated in 1847. He was licensed by the Long Island Presbytery in 1847, and was installed the same year as pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Oyster Bay, Long Island, N. Y. He died April 30, 1865. See Wilson, Hist.
