Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a French, prelate, the son of a tailor of Etampes, said to have been the first.bishop who wore a wig. He became professor in the College of Plessis, almoner of Gaston, and finally bishop of Langres.
