Bartholomaeus, Paulinus a St.
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a German Carmelite, was born at Hof, Austria, in 1748, and died at Vienna in 1806. He wrote, Systema Brahman. Liturg. Mytholog. Civile ex Monumentis Indicis Musei Borg.; Dissert. Hist.-criticis Illustravit (Rome, 1791; Germ. transl. Gotha, 1797): — India Orient. Christiana, cont. Fundat. Eccles., Seriem Episcoporum, Missiones, Schismata, Persecut. (Rome, 1794).
