a Presbyterian minister, was born at Blanford, Mass., Dec. 16, 1791. He was educated at Williams College, Mass., and at Princeton Theological Seminary, where he graduated in 1822. He was successively pastor of the Congregational churches;in Whately and Templeton, Mass., and in 1846 he removed West, and took charge of the Presbyterian Church at Pontiac, Mich., for one year. He was next stated supply for the Presbyterian churches in Conneautville and Hermansburgh, Pa., and in 1851 he preached at Utica, 0.
