(2), a Lutheran theologian of Germany, great-grandson of the preceding, was born at Preussisch-Holland, April 17, 1687. He studied at Jena; became an adjunct to the philosophical faculty at Koinigsberg in 1712; was in 1717 professor of Greek and theology; in 1733, member of Consistory; and died Feb. 17, 1753.
