an Italian theologian, was born at Brescia, Aug. 26, 1676. He entered the Society of Modite Cassino; taught at Brescia, in 1699, mathematics and moral philosophy; was professor of canonical law at Padua in 1705, and filled several important offices in his order, especially that of prior.
