Benedict Deacon of the Church of Mentz
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(known also as Benedictus Lerita), lived about the year 840. He continued the collection of the capitularia of Charlemagne, which the abbot Ansegisus had commenced.
