an English Congregational minister, was born at Thame, Oxfordshire, in 1845. He was educated at Howard House, Oxford County School, and afterwards held a position in the London post-office. He began his ministerial labors as a home missionary, and was stationed as pastor at Hatfield soon after, where he remained until the close of his life, being about six years.
