a Wesleyan minister, was born at Rocklands, Norfolk, Jan. 19, 1817. He was converted at the age of twenty, under William Dawson; entered the ministry in 1843 (Banbury), spent eleven years (1844 sq.) in the West Indies, returned to his native land on account of failing health, and died during his second year at Warrington, Feb. 28, 1877.
