Blanco, Francisco
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Spanish theologian and prelate, was successively canon of Valencia, bishop of Orense, and archbishop of Compostella; he assisted at the Council of Trent. The Italians sought to make him pope.
