Blood, H.P.

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Bucksport, Me., Feb. 5, 1825. He was converted at the age of twelve, and joined the Maine Conference in 1855. In 1872 he was transferred to the California Conference, where, after serving two appointments, ill-health obliged him to retire from all stated work. During the last three years of his life he was very useful in the great revival work in Sacramento. He died in that city, Feb. 21, 1874. Mr. Blood was a faithful and greatly beloved pastor.
