Boule, Etienne Louis
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
an eminent French architect, was born at Paris, Feb. 12, 1728, and studied under Lejai. He erected the Chateau de Tasse, and Chaville; also a number of churches, villas, city gates, and triumphal arches. He was architect to the king and a member of the Royal Academy for many years, and in 1795 was elected a member of the Instituite. He died Feb. 6, 1799. See Spooner, Biog.
