a German controversialist, lived in the early half of the 17th century. He gave up Judaism in 1601 in order to embrace Christianity, and published his motives for so doing in a work in which he accused the Jews of the most odious crimes. Another Jew, named Solomon Zebi, responded in a work in which he accused the Christians of abominable practices.
