Cant (2)
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(and Canted), a term in common use among carpenters to express the cutting off the angle of a square. Any part of a building on a polygonal plan is also said to be canted, as a canted window, or oriel, etc.
