Cantine, William, Jr.

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a minister in the Free Methodist Church, was born at Summer Hill, Cayuga Co., N. Y., Dec. 31,1853. He was converted Oct. 30, 1870; attended, for a season, Chili Seminary, Monroe Co.; in the summer of 1877 went to the State Line Mission, and joined the Genesee Conference the following September. In 1878 he was appointed to the Wilson and New Fane Circuit, Niagara Co.; but before reaching his field of labor, died, Oct. 10 of the same year. See Minutes of Annual Conferences of the F. M.
