Capodiferro, Gian Francesco
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
an Italian artist, was a native of Bergamo, and probably the pupil or rival of Fra Damiana of the same place. He was often employed in decorating churches in his native and other cities, and was aided by his brother Pietro and his son Tinino. He died about 1533. See Spooner, Biog.
