Cappella, Simone
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Neapolitan painter, was born in 1591, and studied at Rome under Annibale Caracci. He painted sacred subjects with great success, and his pictures are quite numerous at his native place. He died in 1641.'
