Casis, Petrus De (Pierre Desmaison)

a French ecclesiastic, was a native of Limoges, where he also joined the order of the Carmelites. In 1324 he was appointed provincial of Aquitania, and in 1330 general of his order. In 1341, Benedict XII made him bishop of Vaison, and in 1342 he was appointed by Clement VI' patriarch of Jerusalem. He died Aug. 3, 1348.
