Chalice-Pall
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
is a covering for a chalice when in use. This is commonly made of a piece of stiff cardboard, covered with silk on the top, and with lawn underneath, and is placed on the chalice after the consecration.
