Chriemhild
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
in ancient German mythology, was one of the two principal female personages in the myth of the Nibelungen-Lied, being the wife of Siegfried, and his avenger subsequent to his brutal murder by Hagan.
