Chrysoretes
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
was chamberlain of Theodosius II (who reigned A.D. 408-450). He was exceedingly influential, and opposed to the Catholic party (Tillemont, 11:527). See Smith, Diet. of Christ. Biog. s.v.
