Cobbs Nicholas Hanmer, D.D.
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church of the United States, was born February 5, 1795. He was the first bishop of the diocese of Alabama, being consecrated October 20, 1844. He died January 11, 1861.
