Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Presbyterian minister, was born at Stillwater, N.Y., September 17, 1795. He graduated from the College of New Jersey in 1814, was licensed' in 1818, and after preaching in various parts of Virginia, settled as pastor at Montgomery, N.Y., from December 1820, to April 1830, and at Oswego, from April 1831, until his death, February 11, 1871.
