Corona Nuptilis

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

is the nuptial crown, i.e., the wreath or ornament placed on the head of the bride in the Western, as well as on the head of the bridegroom in the Eastern Church, at the time of marriage.
