Cotte, Robert de

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

an eminent French architect, was born in Paris in 1657. He was appointed director of the Royal Academy of Architecture, and was vicepresident of the Academy of Painting and Sculpture.
